Overview of Daily Schedule

We platoon in third grade, which means your child will spend half their day in Mrs. Gould's class for math, science, and social studies, and the other half in Mrs. McRae's class for reading workshop, writing workshop, and skills/grammar. Your child will begin each day with their homeroom teacher (Gould: 203, McRae:208), then switch to the other room after lunch.

8:10: Bell rings- Students are lined up on the south playground and ready to go inside

8:15: Tardy bell rings and class begins

10:00-10:50: Specials- students alternate between music, art, P.E., library, and technology each week

11:45-12:30: Lunch and recess

12:35: Students switch classes and class resumes

3:00: Dismissal on the south playground
